SFL Marketing Goes Mobile !

At Sinclair Finance and Leasing we have decided to add a selection of courtesy cars into our fleet to cater for customers that may need a temporary car whilst theirs undergoes a service.

The first of which has a newly designed livery. All be it one of the smaller options of vehicle, a Smart car we think it looks the part.

Sinclair Finance and Leasing and our sister company Sinclair Direct will have new designs applied to the remaining vehicles in the near future, but keep an eye out for first edition which is now officially mobile throughout South Wales.

Citroen Announce the New C4

Citroen have officially announced the new C4 which they describe as “An all new car”. Every body panel has been replaced and sits on an adapted chassis of the existing model. Citroen have used a new welding technique which they say will save weight and in turn, increase the fuel economy. Dimensions of the new model have been increased, but from first glance the new C4 has an array of similarities to the current model.

 

The new C4 is entering a market of already impressive hatchback models like the Volkswagen Golf, and the all new Ford Focus which have an array of hi tech cabins, as the new C4 does, but Citroen say with improved fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions this model will be extremely competitive within it particular sector when launched

VW Polo GTI Review

Volkswagen UK has announced that the new Polo GTI is now open for ordering. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in early July.

 

Promised to be the fastest, most responsive and cleanest hot hatch yet, the polo seems to fair well against its closest rivals of the Renault Clio sport and the Seat Ibiza Cupra.

 

Performance figures are impressive with an output of 178bhp at 6,200rpm and 184lbs ft of torque from 2,000rpm. These figures get the Polo GTI to 62 mph in just 6.9 seconds and keep it going until it reaches its top speed of 148mph.

A Whole New Concept By Mini

The New mini Countryman is the fourth edition of the mini range, it is the first generation of mini to have 4 wheel drive as an option as well as having four fully functional passenger doors for improved access.

 

Mini describes the countryman as a cross-over due to the ‘All 4’ four wheel drive system being an option and not a standard feature. The ‘All 4’ system is designed to work as a 4x4 but does not work in the same way as the systems incorporated into its rival models. The mini’s system spreads the power ratio 50% to the front and 50% to the back for everyday driving with a transfer of 100% power to the rear if needed.

 

 

Mini have put a range of power plants into the countryman ranging from the entry level Mini One D with 89Bhp through to the Cooper S countryman with 181Bhp. All models will be coupled with a 6 speed gearbox as standard but petrol models will have the additional option of a 6 speed automatic with BMW’s steptronic system.

 

BMW Release the new 5 Series, what do you think ?

On sale from the 20^th of March , the new BMW 5 Series is already set to be a leader in its class.

 

Up against the new Mercedes E-Class and the new Audi A6 facelift as its competition the new 5 series has its work cut out.

 

Prices will start at £27,555 for the 520d, which is expected the more popular choice by the consumer, although each engine seems to deliver extremely impressive figures across the board.
