The new Range Rover 2010 model is said to be modelled on the previous Tange Rover sport with minimal changes that seem to make a big difference. The new model is said to have improved fuel consumption by up to 7.3% in the diesel range but it managers to also deliver improved performance figures.
The 5.0litre supercharged V8 now produces 510bhp with 46lb of torque, launching the vehicle from 0-60 Mph in 5.9 seconds and this along with its new 6 speed gearbox allows a top speed of 140 Mph, which is pretty impressive for a vehicle of this calibre.
New extras include 5 external cameras to produce a wider more clear view of all angles for the driver to avoid any untoward accidents from happening, high beam technology is also incorporated into the new model which activates the lights when the daylight drops below a certain level and automatically dims the headlights when the car senses on coming traffic.
The creators of the 2010 model seem to have overcome the ultimate challenge for any vehicle manufacturer of having a considerable amount of increased power whilst at the same time having increased efficiency.
The New Range Rover will be available with two types of engine, prices will start at £64,695 for the TDV8 diesel version and climb to £79,995 for the 5.0 supercharged version.
