The new Audi TT RS has been fitted with a five cylinder 2.5 litre TFSI turbocharged engine that produces 335 BHP, 135BHP than the original Quattro.
The new engine producing 332 pound feet of torque coupled with the improved quattro technology in the TT RS launches itself from 0 - 60 in 4.2 seconds putting it at the top of its class against the Porsche Cayman and BMW Z4. The amount of power and figures that the TT RS produces puts it extremely close to the territory of some supercars.
Whilst delivering these figure the TT RS still produces 21.6 mpg for the coupe and 21.2 mpg in the roadster, the coupe aslo only produces 214g/km in CO2 and the roadster only 221g/km.
Prices for the coupe start at £42,985 for the coupe and £44, 855 for the roadster with a very good residual value expected.
Aside from the R8, the TT RS is by far, one of the better cars that Audi has designed. The TT was already well designed, and they've made it even more sleeker with the RS. Not bad for Audi's first ever compact sports car.
