The new Range Rover 2010 model is said to be modelled on the previous Tange Rover sport with minimal changes that seem to make a big difference. The new model is said to have improved fuel consumption by up to 7.3% in the diesel range but it managers to also deliver improved performance figures.

New BMW 5 Series Grand Turismo

At first glance it is a struggle to determine what the new BMW 5 series Grand Turismo actually is. Partly a 7 series with a hint of SUV in its make up, the new Grand Turismo does not slip into any typical car category.

 

The Grand Turismo is due for release on the 24^th October 2009 with a standard 8 speed automatic gearbox to ensure the smoothest possible ride. There will be a 3 Litre diesel engine option which will be available a year later than its release, but there will be initial options of both six and eight cylinder petrol engines.

 

Although the Grand Turismo seems to be a confused concoction of different models of BMW there is a point to it. This model of BMW has all of the interior comforts and ride quality of a 7 series BMW with the everyday usability of a 5 series and the ruggedness of an SUV mixed in. The Grand Turismo has the added attractiveness of being priced as £40,810 which is £7000 less than the 7 Series.

 

Performance figures are also impressive at 24 bhp at 4000 rpm and a 0-62 time of 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 150 mph. The grand Turismo is able to achieve all of this whilst retaining 173g/km.

 

 

 

The New Audi TT RS is born !

The new Audi TT RS has been fitted with a five cylinder 2.5 litre TFSI turbocharged engine that produces 335 BHP, 135BHP than the original Quattro.

New Peugeot RCZ !

Due to go on sale in the spring of next year the new Peugeot RCZ comes garnished with a choice of three engines. There are two versions of the turbocharged 1.6, one producing 156 Bhp and the other 200 Bhp. The third engine available will be a HDI turbo diesel engine producing 163 Bhp.

New Blue Motion Golf Plus!

 

Volkswagen have now produced a new Golf plus combined with bluemotion technology.This new model produces extremely low levels of CO2 emissions at just 114g/km.

 

There are a variety of additional features of technology that affect the efficiency of this new model.  

 

• An engine start/stop system
• A regenerative braking system
• Revised gear ratios for third, fourth and fifth gears
• Low rolling resistance tyres
• Lowered suspension to improve for improved aerodynamics
• Gearshift indicator

 

 

Sneek Peek at the new Saab 9-5!

Due for its official unveiling next month, the first ever photos of the new Saab 9-5 have been leaked onto the market.

Seen to have similar but improved and modernised angles to the body work and lines of the 9-5 along with changes in the technology could be the first signs of a car with a  lot of potential to become a main player within its market sector.

New Registration in September!

It is that time again where fleet managers are busy processing vehicle orders ready for the new September registration so don’t miss out.

 

Lead times have slowed recently and it could take up to 12 weeks to process so make sure you get your orders in as soon as you can.
